WEDDING WEEKEND
The wedding itself is on Saturday, but for you out-of-towners we have events planned throughout the weekend. This page gives a schedule of these events to help you plan your visit and not, say, miss the wedding because you thought it was on Sunday and were busy watching the most recent episode of Battlestar Galactica in your hotel room.
Sunset & Sweets (directions / ajo-ohjeet)
When: Friday, July 28th, 7 - 9 p.m.
Where: Carkeek Park
What: A dessert reception to welcome our out-of-town guests.
Dress: Casual but nice -- slacks and shorts (one step up from jeans)
The Wedding (directions / ajo-ohjeet)
When: Saturday, July 29th, 5:30 p.m. (please arrive by 5:15)
Where: Lord Hill Farms, Snohomish, WA
What: Umm...the wedding! The ceremony and reception will both take
place at the scenic Lord Hill Farms, in the shadow of the spectacular
Cascade mountain range. The ceremony will be outdoors, weather permitting
(and the weather had better permit!), followed by an outdoor cocktail hour
and then an indoor reception with
dinner, dancing and general merriment. Guests may choose between
celebration, jubilation and felicity.
Dress: Dresses, shirts and ties (coats/suits are not expected, but won't be out of place)
Sunday Open House Brunch (directions / ajo-ohjeet)
When: Sunday, July 30th, 11:00 a.m.
- 3 p.m.
Where: Ben's parents' house - 7750 58th Ave NE, Seattle, WA 98115
What: A Sunday morning brunch for out-of-town guests. This is a final
opportunity to see family and friends all in one place before the weekend
ends and people start going their separate ways. *sniff* We miss you all
already!
Dress: Casual but nice -- slacks and shorts (one step up from jeans)
